Here are some of the things we have coming up!
Our Master Purse Class is underway!
Our favorite master beader, Frances "Casey" Case got our students started on their purses in October and she's coming back in April to make sure everyone is on-track. We have such a diverse selection of patterns this time! We hope to post photos as these very special pieces are completed in the months ahead. Want to get on the waiting list for the next class? This is a very special opportunity for our students to take their beadweaving skills to the next level. Contact us to get on the list.
Fall & Winter Hours
Please note our hours are: Tuesday through Friday Noon-5:30 pm, Saturdays 9-4. We are still closed Sundays and Mondays. On class evenings the doors are open until 6pm if you need a little extra time. Just call before making a special trip.

Time for the Bead it Forward Quilt Project!
The 2011-2012 quilt theme is "Birds-flocking together to fund breast cancer research and find the cure." This project has been taken over by Bead & Button. Click here to view information about the project and download free patterns. Of course, Lodi's will be supporting beaders who work on this worthy cause with a potluck beading session on January 20th from 12:00 - 4:00. Bring goodies to share and bead awhile!

BEGINNER
ADVANCED
Learn basic beadweaving stitches such as peyote stitch, herringbone stitch, brick stitch, square stitch, and more. Basic lessons in stringing glass beads, wrapped loops, and closures.
Learn to combine stitches and techniques to construct beautiful works of art. Think outside the box and bead beautiful items to give as gifts or use throughout your home.
INTERMEDIATE
SPECIAL CLASSES
Learn to add dimension to your work by using stitches such as tubular peyote, circular peyote, tubular herringbone, St. Petersburg, Russian Spiral, and Dutch Spiral stitches.
Embellish your work with basic fringe, branch fringe, bead embroidery, and cabochons.
Lodi's is renowned for the beautiful holiday ornaments and wine bottle covers stitched by our students.
Lodi's also offers Masters-series classes for those beaders who are ready to take it to the "next level" with their beadweaving skills.

If you wish to take a break from the ordinary Lodis is no ordinary bead shop.
Just minutes south of Albuquerque, the shop, spacious and filled with a large array of beads and findings, Lodis is a friendly and fun place to bead. The shop has been a popular destination since the beginning when started in a tiny storefront on Bosque Farms Boulevard in the fall of 1998.
Three moves later (what a job, moving a bead shop!), with 10 Instructors and over 100 class projects, we have something for everyone. A large variety of beginner classes through advanced, including Master Classes, makes Lodis a popular destination.
